Abstract
Images acquire more and more space in the media field, becoming not just witnesses and evidence of the events, but the facts themselves. However, one can realize that there is a logic involving disposal in journalism, that is, images that make headlines today may simply disappear tomorrow. But some remain circulating in several devices, even those that are nonnews. Therefore, this article focuses on the challenge involved in understanding how the processing of media images and the circulation of their meaning occurs.Copyright for articles published in this journal is retained by the authors, with first publication rights granted to the journal.
