Submitting research data. Brazilian Journalism Research encourages authors to share the research data underlying their manuscripts. At the time of submission, all authors must submit the "Data Availability, Artificial Intelligence Use, and Authorship Declaration" form (available under the Submissions menu), duly completed and signed by all authors of the manuscript, indicating the availability status of the research data.

Authors who wish to make their research data available may submit, together with their manuscript, a supplementary Word file containing the data and an authorization allowing the data to be made available under the CC BY 4.0 International license. The data will be formatted and incorporated into the BJR Open Data Repository, hosted on OSFHome.

Alternatively, authors may deposit their research data in another trusted repository and provide the editors with the corresponding access information (URL or DOI). A link to the research data will be included in the article upon publication.
